Home » HP » Laptops & Desktops » ProLiant ML150 G2 HP ProLiant ML150 G2 Drivers Download This page contains the list of device drivers for HP ProLiant ML150 G2.

Can I split the three files onto 2 floppy discs? Thanks for your assistance. The file you downloaded won't fit on the floppy because it contains the install files and the program you need to extract them.

The steps explained in the instructions on the HP download page (and now by me after I tested to see it does work) put just the files you need on a single disk. Floppy disks could/can never be trusted, but from you reply your issue is likely not the floppy, just not finishing the needed steps.

They also mentioned that the AIC 8130 is a marvell chipset if that helps! Thanks again for everyones assistance.

Hello Bob, Thanks for your update in which you indicate you were advised to contact HP. Let me know if you need assistance in getting your issue escalated within HP. Hello Bob, As communicated in PM, I apologize that I did not check my server list which shows the ML150 G2 server is far out of warranty and most likely is now outside of HP's support cycle. Our third parties will often advise customers to contact HP without knowing the product's support status. This forum is probably the best source of support for your issue.

Although I am not a server knowledgeable, it appears that you have received some expert responses from the Community. I will ask our Spiceworks' HP partner Tim to re-review your issue. Adaptec 8130 controller I did notice also that two drives of the four have jumpers do they need to be in a particular order in the cage? I seem to remember having this problem - I'm assuming that the floppy drive is working, but I seem to think that extracting this one onto a floppy sorted it for me - HP ProLiant ML150 G2 Embedded SCSI Controller Windows Driver - Did you try that one? Or have you got it sorted by now?

I had to dig way way way back in the archives to find any notes about HP 150 G2s I've installed, (which first makes me feel the need to point out this server is likely much to old to be used for business use) and the only note I have is a problem I had using a driver disk I had formatted in an LS drive, and to use the STD floppy drive. Given the age of any floppy you may try to use I'd take the time to run a surface scan on it before letting the driver image the disk. You may be able to slipstream the drivers on to the Windows Install CD, but the complication will be extracting the driver form the SCSI.IMG file in the download from HP or finding the driver from another source. Hello Tim, Tremendous thanks for re-reviewing Bob's posting and following up. We owe you!!! I was able to verify it should have a 'HP ProLiant ML150 G2 Server Support CD' shipped with it, not a Smart Start Disk. ML150 was my server of choice when deploying SBS2003 to my clients and I built a good number of them.

I cursed at first the lack of Smart Start but I quickly cottoned on. The ML150 was a good device, hampered here by poor availability when you needed one. Distribution kept wanting to sell either an ML110 (Single Processor) or a ML350 - too big and expensive for many of my customers (£500 extra for no appreciable gain for the client).
